StirlingX, a defense technology company based in London, United Kingdom, has raised $20 million (about £15 million) in a Series A round. The financing, announced on July 2, 2026, was led by Ventura Capital and the RCM Private Markets Master Fund, which is managed by Rokos Capital Management US, and came just eight months after the company closed its seed round.

The company is building a sovereign data intelligence and autonomy platform that helps customers capture, secure, combine, analyze, and act on information gathered from complex and contested settings. Its work centers on defense, national security, and critical national infrastructure.

StirlingX is chaired by the former director of GCHQ, the United Kingdom’s signals intelligence agency, and pitches itself as a response to some of the hardest problems in modern national security.

The capital will support company growth and further product development so StirlingX can serve customers running demanding missions in difficult operating environments.
