Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know before you join Fundraise Insider, from what lands in your inbox each week to how our pricing works. Still cannot find your answer? Reach out on our contact page and we are glad to help.
Getting started
When do I get my leads?
You get access the moment you sign up, right in your inbox and account. After that, a fresh list of newly funded startups and their decision maker contacts arrives every Monday morning EST.
How many leads do I get each week?
Subscribers receive about 250+ newly funded contacts each week. The exact number tracks real funding activity, so a busy week can run well above that, while a quieter week, usually one with major holidays, can come in a little lower.
The list reflects which companies actually raised that week rather than a fixed quota we pad out, which is why every contact stays current and worth your time.
How recent is the funding data?
We publish new rounds every week and only include companies that were funded in the last 7 to 10 days. That means you are working from current funding events while competitors are still chasing lists that are months old.
What is included
What information is included in your leads list?
Each weekly list gives you newly funded startups with everything you need to start a conversation the same day:
- Company name, website, location, and number of employees
- Technologies the company uses, plus a phone number where available
- Funding stage, funding date, and amount raised
- Top 5 investors in that funding round
- Verified email and LinkedIn for senior decision makers such as the founder, CEO, or CTO
- Company social accounts
- Everything exportable to CSV so you can sort, filter, and import it into your outreach tool
What contact details do you provide for decision makers?
For each company you get verified email addresses and LinkedIn profile URLs for the key decision makers, such as founders, CEOs, CTOs, and other senior leaders who control budgets. We also include the company social accounts, so you can build more than one touch point and follow up wherever your prospect is most active.
Which funding stages do you cover?
Our leads span the full early and growth range, from Angel rounds through Series G. You can filter the list down to the stages that match your offer, whether you sell best to scrappy pre revenue teams or to later stage companies with bigger budgets.
Which countries and industries do you cover?
Every company in our database is headquartered in North America or the United Kingdom. On the industry side, our funding data is categorized across 127 industries, so if you sell into a specific niche you can filter the list to just those sectors and skip everything else.
Plans, pricing and refunds
What plans do you offer and how do they differ?
We keep it simple with two one time plans, both built around the same weekly leads list:
- Full Stack at $149: the weekly list of 250+ newly funded contacts delivered to your inbox every Monday, with filters for funding type and industry.
- Yearbook at $299: everything in Full Stack, plus the full archive of 41,000+ funded company contacts from the previous year as a downloadable CSV, and a ready to use AI prospecting prompt as a bonus.
Both are a single payment for lifetime weekly leads with no recurring charges. You can see current pricing on our pricing page.
Is this really a lifetime deal where I pay once for lifetime access? What is the catch?
Yes, it is exactly what it sounds like. You pay one time and keep receiving the weekly leads list with no recurring charges, no renewals, and no surprise fees later.
There is no catch buried in the fine print. The only reason we can offer this is that we keep the subscriber base small on purpose, so once the lifetime spots are claimed, they are gone. The honest trade is simply that this pricing will not stay open forever.
Do I get access to historical leads?
Yes, with the Yearbook plan. The moment you sign up you get the full sheet of 41,000+ funded company contacts from the previous year, searchable with filters so you can pull exactly the funding stages, industries, and locations you want. It downloads as a CSV, and you keep receiving the weekly list on top of it.
The Full Stack plan focuses on the ongoing weekly list rather than the historical archive.
What is your refund policy?
Because Fundraise Insider is a digital product and the leads are delivered the moment you sign up, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds. You are paying one time for lifetime access, so there is no subscription to cancel and nothing to manage later.
If anything about your access is not working as expected, contact us and we will make it right.
Data quality and sourcing
Where do the leads come from and how do you verify them?
Our lists are built from publicly available information about recently funded companies, including news articles, funding platforms, social media, blogs, public SEC filings, and both public and private databases. Our team collects the data by hand and cross checks it against those sources, then applies human judgment to decide what actually belongs on the list.
Every email is verified, and the data is sourced legally, never from leaks or breaches. That is what keeps your campaigns landing in inboxes instead of bouncing.
How does Fundraise Insider compare to Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Crunchbase?
Those platforms are directories. They hand you enormous databases that thousands of teams query with the same filters, so you often end up contacting the same companies as everyone else, frequently from records that have not been refreshed in months.
Fundraise Insider is built around timing instead of volume. You get a focused weekly list of companies that raised in the last 7 to 10 days, with contacts verified by hand and ready to drop into your outbound flow. There are no usage caps and no monthly fee, just a one time payment for leads that arrive while the budget is still fresh.
Won't I be competing with every other subscriber?
Not in practice. We keep the subscriber base small on purpose, and our customers use the list in very different ways. Some focus on a single industry, others on one location, some reach out by email while others work LinkedIn. Most serve different niches entirely, so direct overlap on the same accounts is rare.
The bigger advantage is that you are reaching freshly funded companies before most sales teams even know they exist.
Results and fit
What kind of results can I expect?
Subscribers routinely see reply rates 2-3x higher than cold leads lists, and most start booking meetings within their first month or two. A few have closed deals in their first week. The driver is timing. You are reaching out right after a company raises capital, when it is actively looking to grow and spend.
Aren't these startups already flooded with vendor emails after they raise?
Some outreach does pick up after a raise, which is exactly why targeting and timing matter. Most teams blast the same generic sequences from bought lists or AI tools. Because you get curated contact data and verified decision makers, you can personalize your outreach and reach the right person early, before the inbox fills up and everyone else catches on.
What makes recently funded startups such valuable leads?
A fresh round is a signal of intent. Companies that just raised are hiring, launching, and upgrading their tools, vendors, and infrastructure to execute on a new plan. They have budget and a mandate to spend it.
Reaching them at that moment, rather than months later, puts your offer in front of them while decisions are still being made.
