LinqAlpha, a New York based AI company serving institutional investors, has raised $22 million in a Series A round, bringing its total funding to about $28.6 million. Announced on July 2, 2026, the round was anchored by AVP, Atinum Investment, and GFT Ventures, with additional backing from venture firms across Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and India.

The company is building what it calls the Alpha Intelligence Layer for global public markets. Its platform lets institutional investors run specialized AI agents that learn each user’s investment framework and turn scattered data into usable insight. LinqAlpha was founded by Jacob Choi, Subeen Pang, Jin Kim, and Hojun Choi, a team that brings together former Goldman Sachs analysts and MIT computer science PhDs.

The platform already serves more than 70 institutional clients, among them Causeway Capital Management and Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, whose combined buy side assets top $5 trillion.

New capital will fund expansion into Singapore and Hong Kong and broaden the platform’s coverage across equities, macro, credit, and multi asset research.
