HIVE, a physical AI company headquartered in London, has raised £11.2 million ($15 million) in a seed round to build an intelligence layer for industrial machines. SuperSeed led the financing, with participation from Veriten, Skyfall and Nysnø, plus angel investors including Medallia founder Børge Hald and Meltwater founder Jørn Lyseggen.
Founded in 2022 in Norway and now based in London, HIVE is building what it calls a silicon brain that unifies machine operations through a single platform, letting machines in warehouses, production lines and construction sites perceive, decide and act on their own.
The company will use the money to further build its platform, expand its founding team and scale commercial deployments.
