Veritas Aortic Solutions, a medical device company based in Costa Mesa, California, has closed $12 million in Seed financing. The company, a spinout from inQB8 Medical Technologies, announced the round on June 1, 2026.

The financing was led by a group of experienced medtech angel investors, with strong participation from Cedars-Sinai Intellectual Property Company along with inQB8’s existing investors.

The funds will support continued development of the Veritas Transcatheter Valved Aortic Root Conduit, or TVARC. The device is designed to offer a comprehensive, interventional, non-surgical treatment for high-risk root and ascending aortic diseases. That includes dissections, aneurysms, and other pathologies that specifically involve the aortic root, coronary ostia, or the ascending aorta. The work sits within the broader healthcare device field as a catheter-based alternative to open-heart surgery.
