Prosper Medical Raises $16M Seed for AI Concierge Care

Prosper Medical, an AI healthcare company based in San Francisco, California, has raised a $16 million seed round to scale its concierge primary care platform. FUSE led the financing, which the company announced on July 23, 2026.
Aurum Partners, Better.vc, Cal Innovation Fund, Fluent, Latitude Capital, Knoll Ventures, and WTI also joined. Prosper was founded by Ryan McQuaid and James Wantuck, MD, who earlier built and sold PlushCare, one of the country’s first direct-to-consumer telehealth platforms, for $450 million.
Rather than one-off telehealth visits, Prosper is building continuous, proactive care. It uses AI to keep a lifetime record of patient context, pull together clinical data, track test results, and coordinate specialist referrals between visits. Unlike many cash-pay concierge services, the company is in-network with major insurance plans and operates across all 50 states.
The company plans to use the capital to expand its physician network, keep building the AI platform behind the care model, and move into new markets.
