Velocity has raised $27 million in a seed round to build monetization and advertising infrastructure for AI-native software. NFX and Red Dot Capital Partners led the round, with participation from Stardom Ventures, Corner Ventures and Transcend.
The company was founded by chief executive Tal Shoham along with Amir Shaked and Nimrod Zuta, former executives at ironSource and Unity who spent more than a decade building monetization, advertising and growth systems used by developers worldwide. Velocity is tackling two pressures facing AI-native applications: the rising cost of running advanced models and the difficulty of turning large numbers of free users into paying subscribers.
With the new funding, Velocity aims to help these applications generate revenue and expand distribution without depending solely on subscriptions.
