QIZ Security has raised $17 million in a seed round to help enterprises prepare for the day quantum computers can break today’s encryption. Bessemer Venture Partners and Merlin Ventures led the round, with participation from Evolution Equity Partners, Qbeat Ventures, Singtel Innov8 and Qino Cyber Capital.

The company provides continuous cryptographic posture and post-quantum cryptography management across complex enterprise environments, letting organizations discover cryptographic assets, model risks and enforce remediation. QIZ was founded by Ben Volkow, Lenny Ridel and Dr. Itan Barmes, who previously led the global quantum cyber readiness team at Deloitte.

QIZ says it already works with large brands across financial services, telecommunications, healthcare and critical infrastructure, and will use the capital to deepen product development and expand its market presence.
