Golden Analytics has raised $14 million in a Seed extension to expand its AI-native business intelligence platform. The Seattle, Washington startup announced the round on June 9, 2026, bringing its total seed funding to $21 million.
The extension was led by Insight Partners, with existing backers NEA and Madrona re-upping their support. The round came just two months after the company emerged from stealth, a fast follow that reflects strong early interest in what Golden is building.
The funding coincided with the public beta launch of Golden’s product, which has already drawn early-access requests from roughly 1,000 companies, about one in six of them in the Fortune 500. That level of demand from large enterprises is notable for a product still in beta, and it helps explain why investors moved quickly to put more capital in.
Golden Analytics was founded in 2026 by Francois Ajenstat, the former product chief at Tableau, a background that carries weight in the business intelligence world. The company’s software connects to cloud data warehouses and files and then automatically generates charts, dashboards and written summaries in response to natural language queries. The goal is to let people ask questions of their data in plain language and get usable answers without needing to build reports by hand.
By framing the raise as a seed extension rather than a new round, Golden is signaling that it is still early in its journey while acknowledging it needs more fuel to meet the demand already showing up at its door. With $21 million in total seed funding and a product now open to a wider audience, the company is well positioned to test whether its approach to AI-native analytics can win over the enterprises lining up to try it.
