Twin1 AI came out of stealth alongside a $20 million Seed round co led by Bessemer Venture Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners and Aramco Ventures.

The product pairs each professional with an AI powered digital twin meant to carry that person’s judgment, relationships and context, then make their expertise available across the organization. The company describes what it is building as the coordination and trust layer for enterprise AI. In deployment, the platform has handled 30 to 50 percent of knowledge worker communications.

Privacy is where Twin1 puts most of its argument. Six interlocking layers of rules based and AI based controls govern both peer to peer and peer to AI interactions, mixing enterprise policy, inherited permissions and human approval so information moves only when someone authorized it. The user decides what data the twin can see and how that context travels.

Dr. Lewis Z. Liu, Tom Cahn, Huiting Liu and Dr. Jonathan Budd founded the company in 2025. It operates from San Mateo, and the California office is one of two the company is now growing.

The funding covers hiring in San Mateo and London, go to market investment, and continued development of the core technology.
