Veeda AI raised $90 million in a Seed round announced on August 19, 2026. Khosla Ventures and Radical Ventures led the financing, which ranks among the largest seed raises in Canadian history.

What makes the number more striking is the timing. The round landed less than three months after the founders incorporated the business.

Sanja Fidler started the company after leaving Nvidia, joined by co-founders Zan Gojcic and Huan Ling, who were also researchers there. The team is building multimodal foundation world models for physical AI, systems that work across language, image and video to simulate physical reality.

The practical goal is scalable environments where embodied agents can learn by interacting rather than by reading. Robotics and embodied intelligence are the application areas the company is pointing at.

Veeda operates from Toronto, where its founders were based before starting the company.
