Turnout has raised $35 million in Series A funding at a $400 million valuation to expand its AI-powered consumer advocacy service. The Del Mar, California company announced the round on June 11, 2026.
The financing was led by HighPost Capital, with participation from Shine Capital, LGVP, Mangusta Capital, Honeystone Ventures and investor Omri Casspi. The raise comes less than a year after the company’s seed round, which closed in September 2025.
Led by CEO Itai Hirsch, Turnout helps people navigate bureaucratic processes through a platform designed to protect the rights of American citizens across government, insurance, healthcare and education systems. The idea is to give ordinary people a capable advocate when they are dealing with institutions that can be difficult to challenge alone. Since closing its seed round, the company says it has logged more than ten million minutes of AI and human-led advocacy.
The model blends software with people. Turnout plans to use the new funds to expand its AI agent platform, called Jake, while also scaling its human advocate workforce across the country. That combination reflects a belief that some advocacy work can be automated while other parts still benefit from a real person stepping in.
The company also intends to push into two new areas, healthcare and education, building on the systems it already serves. Both are domains where individuals frequently run into complex rules and appeals processes, which fits Turnout’s core proposition. With a fresh $35 million and a valuation that signals investor confidence, the company is betting that demand for help navigating bureaucracy will only continue to grow.
