EDGE Markets has raised $29.2 million in Series A funding to expand its banking and payment products for gaming, crypto and prediction markets. The New York company announced the round on June 8, 2026.
The financing was led by CoinFund, with participation from Indicator Ventures, Mantis VC, Stepstone Group and Bullpen Capital. EDGE Markets operates in a corner of fintech that has grown quickly, building the financial rails that sit underneath regulated gaming and the increasingly active prediction market ecosystem.
The company plans to put the capital toward two main products. The first, EDGE Pro, is a high-throughput banking platform aimed at market makers trading on prediction markets, designed to enable real-time deposits into CFTC-regulated exchanges. The emphasis on speed reflects how these markets operate, where the ability to move funds quickly can shape whether a trader can participate at all.
The second product, EDGE Connect, is a purpose-built payment rail intended to lower transaction costs and provide real-time payment processing for regulated gaming and prediction market operators. Together, the two products point to a strategy focused on the infrastructure layer rather than consumer-facing betting, positioning EDGE Markets as a supplier to the platforms and professionals active in these markets.
The raise comes as prediction markets draw growing mainstream and regulatory attention, and as the businesses serving them look to build out compliant, fast-moving financial systems. For EDGE Markets, the funding is a chance to establish itself as a foundational provider before the category matures further.
