Terminal, a Toronto, Ontario company building data infrastructure for commercial fleets, has raised $20 million in Series A funding. Battery Ventures led the round, which was announced on July 29, 2026.

The platform connects fleets, insurers and logistics providers to more than 325 telematics service providers through a single application programming interface. It gathers and standardizes data from electronic logging devices, GPS trackers, dash cameras, OBD II devices and other sources, so customers can reach all of it through one integration.

Intact Private Capital and the transportation company Penske joined the round, along with existing investors Y Combinator and Wayfinder Ventures. With this financing, Terminal has raised $26 million in total since it was founded in 2023 by chief executive Raghav Midha and chief technology officer Connor Giles.

The company employs 17 people, all based in Toronto, and plans to double that team over the course of the year.
