ORANGE JUICE, headquartered in Westport, Connecticut, announced on July 15, 2026 that it has raised $40 million in a Seed round to launch a permanent capital company backed by a Bitcoin treasury.
The company was founded by partners from ego death capital, a Bitcoin venture capital firm, including Jeff Booth, Lyn Alden, Nico Lechuga and Andi Pitt, together with Adrian Steckel. Ruben Zweiban comes in as operating partner.
Ricardo Salinas, the Mexican founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas, is taking part as anchor investor.
ORANGE JUICE plans to acquire, improve and permanently own American businesses. Its early targets are stable, cash flow generating companies producing $1 million to $10 million in annual cash flow across a range of sectors. Unlike traditional private equity, the firm is not bound by fund cycles or pressure to resell, which lets it concentrate on the long term health of the businesses it buys.
