Sparkle Grooming Co., a wellness-focused dog grooming franchise based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has secured $6 million in strategic growth financing. Companion Fund, the venture capital fund managed by Digitalis Ventures in partnership with Mars Petcare, led the investment, which was announced on September 9, 2026.

The money arrives as Sparkle moves into its next phase of national growth. In just 24 months the company has awarded more than 600 franchise licenses to multi-unit partners across the country. The financing is meant to strengthen the platform behind that expansion, giving Sparkle more capacity to support franchise partners, open locations faster, and scale the system in a disciplined way.

Sparkle was founded to modernize a fragmented category by making routine hygiene and grooming a consistent part of a dog’s overall wellness. It describes its approach as Quick-Service Pet Care. The model pairs recurring memberships, standardized operating systems, proprietary technology, and a hospitality-style customer experience, with the aim of turning grooming from a one-off transaction into a routine, trusted service while giving franchise owners a more repeatable business.

Ten salons are open today, with a growing pipeline preparing to launch. The company expects to end 2026 with at least 20 salons and has more than 30 additional openings planned for 2027. It continues to seek select multi-unit franchise partners in priority markets. Ben Crawford is co-founder and CEO.

Suppliers and service providers that sell to franchise operators and independent salons can get verified contacts at newly funded companies each week through Small Business Leads.
