Enigmata, Inc., a cryptographic technology company in Nashville, Tennessee, has emerged from stealth with $6.5 million in seed funding. Blockchange Ventures led the round, which was announced on September 10, 2026.
The Seed round will pay for commercializing the company’s core technology, Enigmata Cipher, and expanding its platform footprint.
Led by co-founder and CEO Scott Searle, Enigmata builds infrastructure for what it calls the AI data economy, aimed at healthcare, banking, insurance, life sciences, and publishing. The patent-pending Cipher technology converts records, documents, and datasets into an encrypted form that AI, analytics, and search tools can work on directly, using existing enterprise hardware, without ever exposing plaintext. The company says accuracy matches training on raw data, training speeds improve by 8 to 10 percent, and individual records can be deleted without retraining the whole model.
Enigmata Cipher is currently available to a selected group of enterprise design partners.
Security vendors and consultancies selling into regulated industries can get verified contacts at newly funded data security companies every week through Cyber Security Lead Generation.
