Maneva has raised $27 million in Series A funding to expand its AI vision platform for manufacturing. The company, headquartered in North York, Ontario, announced the round on June 10, 2026.
The financing was led by U.S. Venture Partners, with participation from returning investors Bling Capital and Freestyle Capital, along with a group of angel investors and funds. The raise brings Maneva’s total capital to $38.4 million.
Founded in 2021 by Rae Jeong and Kelvin Chan, Maneva describes itself as building the intelligence layer for modern manufacturing. Its video-to-action platform uses deep learning computer vision and agentic AI to turn the cameras already installed in factories into tools for real-time operational decisions. Instead of asking manufacturers to install new hardware, the company works with what is already on the floor, translating raw video into actionable insight. Maneva frames its mission around closing what it calls the $18 trillion global manufacturing efficiency gap.
The new capital is aimed at three priorities. Maneva plans to deepen its core AI capabilities through continued development of its patent-pending VITA and ALIS agents, expand its customer base into new geographies and industries, and roll out its next generation of factory orchestration and AI knowledge agent features. Together, those efforts point to a company trying to move from a promising vision system toward a more complete operating layer for factories.
Manufacturing has been slower than many sectors to adopt advanced software, which Maneva appears to view as an opening rather than a barrier. By building on existing camera infrastructure, the company is betting it can lower the friction that often keeps factories from embracing new technology, and the fresh funding gives it room to test that thesis across a wider set of customers.
