Aton Health has closed a Series A growth investment led by Shore Search Partners, giving the healthcare company resources to widen its reach. The Kansas City, Missouri company announced the round on June 12, 2026.

Aton Health works to weave clinical research into routine patient care. Its platform helps providers take part in research programs, reach broader patient populations and generate meaningful evidence, all without disrupting the workflows that clinicians already rely on. The aim is to make research participation a natural extension of everyday care rather than a separate, burdensome process.

The company is led by Tom Sanders, who serves as CEO and co-founder. Under his direction, Aton has built two core products, the TrialSight and CareSight platforms, which sit at the center of its approach to connecting care and research.

With the new investment, Aton Health plans to continue expanding those platforms while moving into additional specialties and markets beyond gastroenterology, its initial focus area. That expansion suggests the company sees its model as broadly applicable across medicine, not limited to a single field. The funding will also support advancements in technology and operations, along with growth of the team.

The raise reflects a wider interest in tools that close the gap between clinical research and frontline care, an area where many patients never get the chance to participate in studies simply because their providers lack the infrastructure to offer it. For Aton Health, the Shore Search Partners investment is a vote of confidence in the idea that research and routine care can work together rather than compete for a clinician’s limited time.
