F2 has raised a $14 million Seed round to expand its AI platform for private credit and commercial banks. The company, based in New York, announced the round on June 10, 2026. The seed is part of a larger $24 million in total equity capital the company has raised.
The round was led by HighlandX, with participation from existing investors Left Lane Capital, NFX, Y Combinator and Torch Capital. F2 describes itself as a compounding intelligence platform for private markets, and it is already deployed across more than 100 private credit funds and banks, a meaningful footprint for a company at the seed stage.
Private credit has grown rapidly as an asset class, but much of the work behind it, particularly deal underwriting and analysis, remains manual and time-consuming. F2 is targeting that bottleneck. Alongside the funding, the company announced the launch of Adam, a new AI deal team associate built for credit underwriting, aimed at taking on the repetitive work that slows down deal teams.
The new capital will drive continued expansion of F2’s product suite, including its Institutional Knowledge offering and the launch of Portfolio Monitoring. The company also announced a partnership with Google Gemini Enterprise, tying its platform to one of the major enterprise AI systems. On top of product work, F2 plans to grow its engineering and enterprise deployment teams across New York, San Francisco and London.
The bet behind F2 is that private credit firms will increasingly rely on software to handle the analytical heavy lifting that has traditionally fallen to junior staff. With more than 100 funds and banks already using its platform and fresh capital to build on, F2 is moving to establish itself as a core tool for an asset class that continues to expand.
