CatchBack has raised $7.8 million in a Seed round led by Foundation Capital. Y Combinator, Robinhood Ventures, Coinbase Ventures and the Solana Foundation also invested.

The company is based in Wilmington. It runs a collectibles trading marketplace built around custom mystery packs and features that give buyers instant liquidity on physical assets.

CatchBack’s pitch is that collecting should be both personal and easy to cash out. Users can open custom mystery packs and trade through a real-time marketplace, and the platform is designed so physical collectibles can be bought and sold quickly rather than sitting idle.

The Delaware startup will use the new capital to expand its trading infrastructure and improve the consumer experience on its platform.

Payment providers, logistics firms and marketing agencies that work with consumer marketplaces can get verified founder contacts at newly funded startups every week through the B2B Sales Leads List.
