Flamingo has raised a $4.5 million Seed round led by Vertex Ventures, taking total funding to $6.7 million after a $2.2 million pre-seed in October 2025 led by Focal VC and Array VC.

The company is based in Miami Beach, Florida, and it builds AI-driven infrastructure for IT and security teams.

Its customers are managed service providers, the firms that run IT and security operations for companies without large internal teams. Those providers typically stitch together several tools, and Flamingo is pitching its OpenFrame platform as an alternative to that fragmented stack.

The combination is open-source infrastructure plus AI agents that can actually execute IT services and security tasks rather than just flagging them. For an MSP, the difference between a tool that surfaces a ticket and one that closes it is the difference between headcount and margin.

The company plans to grow its presence in Miami off the back of the round.
