Taxwire, a fintech company based in New York City, has raised $25 million in combined seed and Series A funding. The round, announced on July 2, 2026, was led by Headline, with participation from XYZ, Vinyl, Recall Capital, Nomo Ventures, Analog Ventures, and hundreds of strategic angel investors, among them CFOs, controllers, founders, and tax specialists, several of whom are already customers.

Taxwire builds an end to end global sales tax compliance engine. It automates product tax coding, real time geocoded rate calculations, and filing workflows across about 22,000 local United States jurisdictions and more than 100 countries. The company says it already remits around $100 million in sales tax a year.

The company plans to use the capital to scale its fully managed tax infrastructure, extend its automated geocoding across global tax systems, and hire data engineering talent.
