Arca, a New York based AI native wealth management company, has raised $48.5 million in Series A funding. The round was led by General Catalyst, with strong backing from Index Ventures and Venrock. The company has now secured $64 million in total across its seed and Series A rounds, with Venrock having led an earlier $15.5 million seed.
Arca manages more than $1 billion in client assets and runs with 28 employees across wealth management operations, product, and engineering. It was founded by Rron Rexha, a former product leader at Plaid.
The company’s model pairs high-touch advisory work with AI-driven efficiencies that absorb the manual, repetitive parts of the job. That combination is meant to free financial advisors to build stronger client relationships and offer more personalized advice, while the software handles administrative load behind the scenes.
The new funding will go toward growing Arca’s client base, expanding its advisory team, and continuing to develop its platform and brand.
The raise adds to a steady run of investment in financial services companies that are building their operations around AI from the ground up rather than layering it onto older systems.
