Corca Raises $7.8M Seed for AI Math Workspace

Corca Research has raised $7.8 million in a Seed round to build an AI-native collaborative workspace for mathematics. The company, based in Brooklyn, New York, announced the round on June 10, 2026.
The financing was led by NEA, with participation from Bloomberg Beta, Daft Capital and NVentures. Founded in 2023 by Anton Gladkoborodov and Oleg Shevlyagin, Corca is building software for a kind of work that has changed surprisingly little in decades.
The company’s product combines AI-powered assistance with real-time computation and equation editing in a single collaborative environment. The aim is to bring mathematical work, which still often happens across whiteboards, scattered documents and specialized but isolated tools, into one shared workspace where people can think and compute together. By treating math as something teams do collaboratively rather than alone, Corca is trying to modernize workflows that many researchers and engineers still find clunky.
The backing from NEA and Bloomberg Beta points to investor interest in tools aimed at technical and quantitative users, a group that has often been underserved by general-purpose software. Mathematics sits at the foundation of fields ranging from finance to engineering to scientific research, and a workspace built specifically for it could find users across all of them.
Corca plans to use the proceeds to further develop its product, enhance its AI capabilities and expand its engineering team. For a company taking on workflows that are decades old, the challenge is less about proving the need and more about building something polished enough that mathematically minded users will actually switch. The fresh capital gives Corca room to refine its platform as it works toward that goal.
