Artis has raised a $7.3 million Seed round to expand its AI-powered brand platform for high-end residential design firms. The Austin, Texas company announced the round led by LiveOak Ventures.

Alongside LiveOak, the round drew participation from mark vc and Capital Factory. Artis also secured up to $3 million in revolving credit from Banc of California, bringing its total available capital to $10.3 million. Founded in 2022, the company provides branding, social media, website management and AI-search optimization services tailored to a specific niche, which is high-end residential architects, interior designers and custom home builders.

That focus has translated into a real client base. Artis currently serves more than 60 firms, including McALPINE, Kligerman AD, Schafer & Company, Cravotta Interiors and Foursquare Builders. The company’s pitch is that design professionals are often pulled away from their craft by the marketing and brand work their businesses require, and Artis aims to handle that side so they can stay focused on the work itself.

The new funding will support continued investment in the company’s technology platform as it expands beyond social media into websites, generative engine optimization and other channels where clients’ brands get discovered. Generative engine optimization, the practice of making sure a brand shows up well in AI-driven search, reflects how quickly the discovery landscape is shifting, and Artis is positioning itself to help its clients keep up.

The capital will also fund growth across the company’s executive, client experience, sales and software engineering teams. By serving a clearly defined and affluent segment, Artis has carved out a focused market, and the raise gives it the means to deepen its offering for the design firms that rely on it.
