Gaia Dynamics has closed an oversubscribed $7 million Seed round led by Corazon Capital. Lobby Capital joined, along with continued backing from existing investors AI Fund, founded by Andrew Ng, and Zenda Capital.

The company operates from Palo Alto. Its AI trade compliance platform classifies products, calculates tariffs, audits customs entries, and helps importers plan around trade rules, with coverage spanning 48 countries.

The traction numbers are steep. Annual recurring revenue grew 8x over 12 months, and the platform now serves close to 800 accounts. Customers have completed millions of operations on it and used it to manage datasets running to hundreds of thousands of products or entry lines, which the company puts at up to 200 times the capacity of conventional manual workflows.

Three forces explain the demand across supply chain operations. Trade rules keep getting more complex as regulations change quickly. Customs authorities are enforcing more aggressively, which raises the cost of a mistake. And there are not enough qualified trade professionals to handle the growing volume and exposure.

The California company will use the money to expand the team and add new AI capabilities for strategic trade planning and compliance before the end of the year.

Software companies selling into importers, customs brokers, and trade teams can get verified contacts at newly funded software startups every week through B2B SaaS Leads.
