Comp AI, an AI-native compliance and security platform based in Aventura, Florida, has raised $34 million. Roo Capital and Grand Ventures led the Series A. The company will use the money to push past audit readiness and compliance automation into continuous cybersecurity.

The growth numbers behind the raise are striking for a company founded in January 2025. Comp AI now serves more than 1,000 customers and reported 15x year-over-year ARR growth less than two years after launch. The wider organization has also grown 10x year over year.

The funding will go toward product and engineering development, expanded continuous cybersecurity capabilities, and hiring across the company’s headquarters in the Miami area and its New York office. Open roles will span product, engineering, operations, sales, customer success, and marketing. The company wants to move further upmarket and serve larger organizations with more complex compliance and security needs.

Comp AI’s central idea is that security and compliance should shift from periodic, point-in-time assessments to a continuous operating model. Earlier compliance tools cut down on the spreadsheets, consultants, and long preparation cycles, but many workflows still lean heavily on people. Comp AI uses AI agents to automate onboarding, policy and risk generation, evidence gathering, control monitoring, and vendor assessments. The company says this lets software businesses reach compliance in days rather than quarters without sacrificing the rigor that customers and regulated markets expect.

The platform brings together compliance, risk management, vendor security, and security operations. Its agents reason across organizational context and carry out work that would otherwise require ongoing human involvement. Customers come from healthcare, financial services, higher education, professional services, and software, and include Corgi, Dub, OpenCode, Inference, and Primer.

The Series A will fund the company’s move into real-time monitoring, control validation, and security testing across applications and infrastructure. Comp AI argues that AI has sped up software development to the point where technical teams ship and update products far faster than before, which makes security environments more dynamic and annual or periodic assessments harder to justify. Continuous security monitoring becomes a natural extension of the compliance platform, with agents built to identify, validate, and eventually act on changing risks as they appear.

One more design choice sets the company apart. Rather than bolting AI features onto workflows created before agentic technology existed, Comp AI builds its products around what AI agents can do. The company sees this as the route to security software that goes beyond documenting whether work was completed and starts executing and verifying security tasks directly.

Comp AI was founded by Lewis Carhart, CEO, Claudio Fuentes, COO, and Mariano Fuentes, CTO.

Security vendors, MSSPs, and consultancies that want to reach newly funded cybersecurity companies can get verified decision-maker contacts every week through Cyber Security Lead Generation.
