8090, a company based in Menlo Park, California, has raised a $135 million Series A led by Salesforce Ventures. Announced on June 29, 2026, the round also drew WndrCo, Craft Ventures, The Production Board, and LAUNCH, along with angel investors Nikesh Arora and Adam D’Angelo.

Founded by Chamath Palihapitiya, 8090 runs what it calls a Software Factory, an AI driven platform for building software. It is designed to create new systems, rework legacy code bases, and automate delivery pipelines for large companies in tightly regulated fields.

The company targets customers in industries such as healthcare, aerospace, financial services, energy, and the United States government.

8090 plans to use the capital to hire across the business, grow its technical team, and invest in high performance computing and infrastructure to scale its platform.
