Prime Intellect, a San Francisco, California company building decentralized AI training infrastructure, has raised a $130 million Series A at a $1 billion valuation. Radical Ventures led the round, with participation from Nvidia Ventures, Intel Capital, Dell Technologies Capital, Iconiq and a group of angel investors who founded companies such as Perplexity, Box and Harvey.

Founded in 2024, Prime Intellect gives organizations the tools and compute to train their own agentic systems without leaning on frontier AI labs. Customers including Ramp and Zapier pay for a hosted version of its software, which has helped push the company to an annualized revenue run rate of $100 million.

The company intends to use the capital to scale its distributed compute clusters, fund large-scale reinforcement learning runs and accelerate research into next-generation recursive language models and continual learning systems.
