ZymeCO, a bio manufacturing company based in Monument, Colorado, has closed a $4 million Series A financing. The round, announced on July 1, 2026, was led by Planetary Technologies, formerly Bioeconomy Capital, with participation from Sahsen Ventures, Old Tom Capital, Ag Startup Engine, and several angel investors.
The company develops enzyme based products for agriculture and turf management. Its turfgrass researchers created a proprietary sprayable enzyme now sold as ThatchZyme, which lawn care companies use to break down thatch in lawns.
ZymeCO plans to use the money to scale manufacturing, speed up field testing, and widen commercialization across the agriculture, golf course, lawn care, and sports turf markets.
The company says the raise follows a stretch of strong customer demand and quick revenue growth.
