Discern, a software first registered agent that automates state filings, has raised $10 million in Series A funding. Walkabout Ventures and Bungalow Capital led the round, which was announced on July 29, 2026.
The round follows what the company describes as 4x growth in annual recurring revenue during 2025, and it brings Discern’s total funding to $17.5 million. Founded in 2022, Discern runs a system of record for legal entity management and says its platform cuts the time teams spend on filings by more than 90%.
More than 800 organizations now use the service, including public companies, asset managers overseeing more than $100 billion and regulated businesses across technology, finance and healthcare. Named customers include Vestwell, Accolade Partners and IA Ventures.
Discern plans to use the new capital to keep up with demand, adding to its operations team and expanding its engineering group as it builds out more features for its registered agent product.
