Finster AI announced on August 10, 2026 that UBS Investment Bank and FactSet have invested in its Series B. Neither the company nor its new backers disclosed the amount.

The startup, which operates out of London and New York, builds AI native software for research, analysis and content workflows in investment banking and asset management. Its platform brings structured financial data, unstructured content and a firm’s own institutional knowledge into a single workflow.

What that produces is concrete rather than abstract. Finster can assemble client ready briefing decks, model companies ahead of a transaction, and watch sectors for emerging trends and market moving events, all tasks that currently occupy junior banking hours in enormous quantity.

The investment funds enterprise grade AI infrastructure shaped specifically for investment banking, meaning expanded workflow tools, deeper data integrations and functionality designed to hold up in regulated environments. That last requirement is what usually separates software that gets piloted at a bank from software that gets deployed.

Having a bank and a data provider on the cap table together is a useful combination for a UK company selling into this market, since it addresses both distribution and the underlying content the product depends on.

Vendors and agencies selling into banks, asset managers and fintech firms can reach verified contacts at newly funded companies through FinTech Lead Generation.
