Fomo, a New York based social trading and token discovery app, has closed a $75 million Series B round at a $550 million valuation. The company plans to expand its on-chain consumer trading platform into more asset classes.
Index Ventures led the round, with support from Union Square Ventures and existing investor Benchmark, which led the company’s $17 million Series A in November. The raise also drew a notable group of angel investors from consumer technology, including Zynga co-founder Mark Pincus, Discord chief executive Humam Sakhnini, and Eventbrite co-founder Kevin Hartz.
Founded in 2025, Fomo has surpassed 600,000 users and more than $4 billion in trading volume. The deal brings its total disclosed equity funding to roughly $94 million.
The $75 million is earmarked mainly to grow the engineering team and to pursue potential acquisitions of smaller companies.
The round arrives as retail investor interest in crypto rebounds, with the company positioning its social, on-chain approach as a way to draw consumers into trading.
