Notable Systems has taken an investment from XiFin, adding a strategic backer to a company that raised a $12 million Series B co led by Harbert Growth Partners and Grotech Ventures.

The investment comes with a multi year strategic alliance. XiFin and Notable Systems will build and deliver purpose built AI capabilities across the XiFin Empower AI revenue cycle management ecosystem, which turns a customer relationship into a product partnership.

The Denver company sells revenue cycle automation to medical equipment providers. Its software handles document processing, data extraction and coverage criteria review, work that in durable and home medical equipment has traditionally consumed enormous amounts of staff time and produced errors that cost providers money on the back end.

Notable Systems has been at this since 2017. Steve Johnson serves as chief executive, John Huggins as president and David Lippke as chief technology officer. Clients include Enovis, Apria, XiFin and National Seating & Mobility.

Funds from the Series B are going toward expanding operations and reaching more of the market. Automation in healthcare billing tends to be judged on accuracy rather than speed, which is a harder bar than most software categories set, and the Colorado company has nearly a decade of operating history behind its claim.

Companies selling into providers, billing operations and payers can reach verified contacts at newly funded health businesses through Healthcare Sales Leads.
