Ognomy Sleep, a virtual sleep medicine company based in Buffalo, New York, has raised $20 million in Series A financing. The round closed on June 30, 2026, and was led by Catalyst Investors, with participation from Blue Heron Capital, Impellent Ventures, LaunchNY, Excell, Upstate Biotech Ventures, and the University at Buffalo.

The company runs a virtual first platform that guides patients through the full sleep apnea journey, from testing at home to ongoing treatment, and serves people across the United States. To date it has completed more than 85,000 virtual visits across all 50 states.

Ognomy plans to use the capital to speed up growth, expand its AI enabled clinical platform, build integrations with wearable devices, and deepen partnerships across the healthcare system.

Sleep apnea affects a large share of adults, and the raise reflects growing investor interest in virtual care models that make diagnosis and treatment easier to reach.
