Rundoo has raised $30 million in Series B financing led by Battery Ventures, taking total funding to $48 million. Existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and CRV joined the round.

The company sells an AI first system of record to independent supply stores, the kind that compete against Home Depot and other big box chains. The platform pulls point of sale, e-commerce, CRM, loyalty programs and general ledger into one place, and AI agents handle inventory, pricing and customer engagement work that these operators usually do by hand.

More than 500 stores across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean now run on it, spanning hardware, paint, lawn and garden, farm and feed, and lumber retailers.

Nick Hershey and Andrew Beckman founded Rundoo in 2021 as college roommates. The company operates from Redwood City, and its California headquarters is where the engineering team sits.

New capital funds engineering growth in Redwood City, a larger go to market organization in Chicago, and more investment in the technology customers use.

Vendors selling tools and services to independent retailers can reach newly funded buyers through Small Business Leads.
