SENA Health has closed a Series A led by Rittenhouse Ventures. The money will grow its AI-powered healthcare operations platform, its Clinical Command Center, and its global operations. The New Jersey company did not disclose how much it raised.
The capital will go toward business development and sales, along with continued investment in artificial intelligence and technology development. As part of the deal, Rittenhouse partner Sushma Rajagopalan joins the SENA Health board of directors.
SENA pairs AI and automation with clinical and operational staff to take administrative work off the plates of healthcare organizations. Its 24/7 Clinical Command Center can absorb front-desk, back-office, and call-center workflows so that medical practices can redirect internal resources toward patient care. The company deliberately blends intelligent automation with human expertise rather than relying on software alone, reserving people for the steps that call for clinical or operational judgment.
The target is the operational friction that makes it hard for patients to schedule and reach care while piling more administrative demands on clinicians and staff. That puts SENA in a growing group of healthcare AI companies focused on executing workflows rather than building standalone clinical applications. The operational steps around care delivery, meaning scheduling, communication, coordination, and administration, shape both patient access and staff productivity.
The Series A will also fund expansion of the Clinical Command Center, which runs around the clock and offers practices an outsourced, technology-enabled alternative to building every administrative function in-house. SENA plans to widen its global operations too, though it has not named specific markets, hiring targets, or timelines.
Rittenhouse Ventures invests mainly in emerging B2B software, AI, and technology-enabled services companies, with a focus on the Mid-Atlantic and other underserved markets. It typically backs businesses with $2 million to $10 million in revenue through rounds of $5 million or less, and it pairs capital with operational help and access to its network. SENA Health was founded by Dr. Anthony Wehbe, who serves as CEO.
