Rapalogix Health, a biotechnology company based in Carlsbad, California, has closed a $20 million Series A financing round to advance what it calls longevity-based skin health. The round was co-led by Woodline Partners and GordonMD Global Investments LP.

The company is building a new category of skincare aimed at the underlying biology of skin aging rather than surface symptoms. Proceeds from the round will support the commercial rollout of Re-Q Health, its professional skincare line, while funding a pipeline of next-generation products designed to target the biological mechanisms behind how skin ages.

Rapalogix was founded by skin longevity scientist Rahul Mehta, PhD, dermatologist Doris Day, MD, and healthcare executive Brent Saunders.

The company says it earned several industry awards in 2026 and made strategic additions to its leadership team, while expanding its commercial sales force to support the national launch of Re-Q. Alongside the funding announcement, Rapalogix appointed Neetu Dhaliwal and Craig Gordon, MD, to its board of directors.

The raise points to growing investor interest in longevity science applied to consumer health, with skin care emerging as one early commercial avenue.
