Pave Finance, a New York City company that builds portfolio management software for financial advisors, has closed a funding round of more than $15 million. The Series A was oversubscribed, came in above the original target, and values the business at $100 million pre-money.

The investor group was made up of advisory firms, former executives and board members from large US financial services companies, and existing insiders. Pave plans to spend the money on headcount, with the emphasis on its market-facing teams and internal engineering as it works to reach more of the wealth management sector.

The timing fits a broader shift in the advisory business. Firms are trying to escape slow manual processes while serving more clients who each want a portfolio built around their own situation. Pave says the advisors already on its platform manage more than $130 billion in assets across upwards of 300,000 accounts, which the company offers as proof that its automation and portfolio tools are gaining traction.

The product is an AI-driven platform that lets registered investment advisers and wealth management firms build, personalize, and manage client portfolios at scale, while trimming the time, cost, and operational burden that usually falls on advisors. It tracks more than 50,000 publicly traded securities worldwide, so US advisors can run both equity and multi-asset portfolios. Advisors can screen out specific sectors, industries, or assets, account for existing holdings and tax considerations, and match portfolios to each client’s risk appetite. The platform connects directly with custodians to speed up onboarding.

This raise follows a $14 million oversubscribed seed round that closed in September 2025. Christopher Ainsworth is the company’s chief executive officer.
