Noosphere Labs has raised $10.25 million in a Seed round led by Trilogy Equity Partners, with Madrona taking a significant position as well. The company disclosed the financing in a Form D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and otherwise remains in stealth.
Kevin Carlberg runs the Seattle area company. He spent more than five years at Meta leading research that spanned Reality Labs Research and the company’s Fundamental AI Research group, working on physical AI and simulation for wearable computers and mixed reality devices. He left Meta at the end of 2024 and incorporated Noosphere Labs earlier this year.
The company describes its focus as human centered physical intelligence, meaning AI built to help people interact with and interpret the physical world rather than text and images on a screen. Details past that are thin, which is what stealth usually means at this stage.
Investors in Washington have been active in this category, and a founder with Carlberg’s background is the kind of bet that tends to get funded before there is a product to evaluate.
