Kalogon, a smart seating company based in Melbourne, Florida, has raised $5.75 million in a Series A round led by Enable Ventures. The financing was announced on June 4, 2026.
Alongside Enable Ventures, the round drew participation from Florida Opportunity Fund, Castellan Group, and returning backers DeepWork Capital, Sawmill Angels, and Black Opal.
Founded in 2019 by engineers who came out of SpaceX, Kalogon set out to address an often-overlooked health problem for wheelchair users: pressure injuries. These injuries claim more lives each year than nearly any form of cancer and cost the healthcare system an estimated $20 billion annually.
The raise follows a strong stretch for the company. Kalogon more than tripled its medical revenue year over year and moved into a dedicated manufacturing facility in Melbourne to keep up with rising demand.
The company plans to use the new capital to hire across engineering, research, and business development, to expand its product line internationally, and to invest in data intelligence drawn from its growing fleet of deployed smart cushions.
