Hypha has come out of stealth with a $50 million Seed round, an unusually large raise for a company at this stage. The AI-native asset intelligence platform, based in New York City, announced its launch on June 11, 2026.

The round was led by TriEdge Investments, with participation from Bankwell, Cammeby’s International, CFG Bank, Crescent Heights, Dwight Capital, MONTICELLOAM, LLC and Yakar Partners. That investor list leans heavily toward firms with deep roots in real estate, banking and private credit, a signal of where Hypha expects its platform to be used.

Co-founded in 2025 by Peter Wang and Simcha Hyman, Hypha is built to take the fragmented workflows that define investment management and turn them into structured, actionable insights across the full asset lifecycle. The pitch speaks to a persistent frustration in private markets, where critical information is often scattered across documents, systems and teams, making it hard to act quickly or with confidence.

Part of what makes the raise notable is the company it keeps. Hypha says it has been built alongside an investor base that mixes institutional and non-institutional players managing hundreds of billions in private assets, spanning banking services, private credit, private equity, real estate and legal services. That kind of backing gives the company both capital and a built-in set of potential users.

With the new funding, Hypha plans to expand its engineering, go-to-market, design and marketing teams, accelerate product development, and grow its research and development presence in Tel Aviv. For a company just stepping into public view, the size of the round sets a high bar of expectation, and the months ahead will show whether Hypha can turn that early confidence into a product that private market investors come to depend on.
