Flourish Health, a Richmond, Virginia company that brings intensive psychiatric care into patients’ homes, has raised $26 million in Series A funding. The round was announced on July 27, 2026, and lifts the company’s total funding to $46 million.

B Capital, F-Prime and Cherryrock Capital led the round. Flourish Health was launched in 2022 by Natalia Birgisson, a medical doctor, along with John Haskell and Josh Gachnang. The provider focuses on young people between the ages of 8 and 26 who are living with serious mental health conditions.

Its care model centers on multidisciplinary teams called Care Pods, which bring together child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, patient guides and family guides. The teams treat complex conditions such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma related disorders and behavioral disorders, while working to cut the long waits that often keep young patients from reaching specialized care.

The company plans to use the money to move into additional markets, recruit and train more clinicians and deepen its partnerships with health plans. It will also keep investing in its technology platform, including artificial intelligence tools meant to improve patient engagement, tidy up clinical workflows, support treatment adherence and coordinate care across teams.

Health plan studies cited by the company point to strong results from the in home model, including a 70% to 96% drop in hospitalizations, a 69% to 90% reduction in residential stays and an 80% to 95% sustained reduction in higher levels of care after discharge.
