Claros Technologies, a Minneapolis company that destroys and analyzes PFAS, the so called forever chemicals, has closed a $55 million Series B round. Treehouse Family Capital led the financing, which was announced on July 28, 2026.
Daikin America, Veralto, the Bush Foundation, Nord Asset Management and the Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundation also took part, along with other existing investors. Claros plans to use the money to speed up global commercialization of its ClarosTechUV PFAS destruction system, expand its ClarosLabs testing operation and strengthen its manufacturing and operations.
The company points to growing demand from industrial manufacturers, remediation firms, utilities and government agencies. In December 2025, working with Daikin America, it completed one of the largest in field PFAS destruction demonstrations on industrial process water, reporting more than 99.99% destruction across long, short and ultra short chain PFAS compounds.
In April 2026, Claros showed destruction of 99.99% or more of targeted PFAS compounds in a groundwater remediation test, using concentrate drawn from about one million gallons of groundwater.
