Cambrian, a San Francisco, California startup building blockchain data infrastructure for institutions and AI agents, has raised $6 million in a Seed round. The company announced the funding on June 24, 2026, noting that the round was structured as a SAFE with token warrants and formally closed in May 2026.
Franklin Templeton and Polychain Capital co-led the round, with participation from Flow Traders, Selini Capital, Paper Ventures, Nomad Capital, and others. Angel investors, including Jason Mo, Avi Felman, and TrueNorth co-founders Alex Lee and Willy Chuang, also joined.
The round brings Cambrian’s total funding to $11.9 million, including a $5.9 million pre-seed round led by a16z Crypto Startup Accelerator last year. The company currently employs about 10 people.
Cambrian plans to use the new funding to expand its blockchain and protocol coverage and to speed up development of its oracle network, the system that feeds reliable external data to blockchain applications and AI agents.
The raise reflects ongoing investor interest in the infrastructure connecting blockchain data with the growing world of autonomous AI agents.
