Pure Raises $8M Seed for Peer to Peer Gaming

Pure, based in San Francisco, California, has raised $8 million in Seed funding to build out its compliance first platform for real money peer to peer games.

The money came together across multiple rounds led by Hidden Capital. MaC Venture Capital, Ludlow Ventures, Goodwater Capital, SignalFire, Z Fellows, Jake Brooks and Alex Pall also invested.

Pure supplies the payments, identity verification, compliance and game integrity infrastructure that lets people organise and take part in private real money games with friends and verified communities. Jacob Bulbulia serves as chief executive and Harold Castiaux as chief technology officer.

The company plans to use the capital to accelerate product development, expand its engineering and compliance capabilities, strengthen payments infrastructure and support continued growth across the United States markets it operates in.
