ABCS Insights, an advertising effectiveness analytics company headquartered in Orlando, Florida, has emerged with $50 million in Series A funding led by Volition Capital.
The company is positioning itself around what it calls the Connected Outcomes Era. Rather than reporting only on whether a campaign worked, its approach is built to explain why it worked, connecting outcomes across channels and across stages of the customer journey.
Its leadership bench comes largely from the founding generation of outcome measurement. Chief executive Jerome Shimizu co-founded NCSolutions and holds multiple measurement patents. Michael Sheng serves as chief technology officer and Tom Acquaviva as chief revenue officer. Alongside the funding announcement, ABCS Insights named Deirdre McFarland chief marketing officer and promoted Thalya Hamilton to chief client officer.
Sean Cantwell, co-founder and managing partner at Volition Capital, led the investment. The Boston based growth equity firm has backed category defining companies since 2010, among them Visual IQ, which Nielsen acquired, and Connatix. The deal widens the firm’s position in the measurement and analytics sector.
