Ema has raised a $77 million Series B led by Creaegis, with Accel, S32 and Prosus each increasing their existing investments. The round takes Ema’s total funding to $140 million and more than quadruples its valuation from the previous round. Every major existing investor came back with a larger check.

The company is based in Mountain View, California. It builds a platform for agentic AI Employees that handle HR, IT and finance work across the applications a company already uses. These agents plan and carry out tasks, check their own work, route approvals when needed and finish processes end to end, with humans overseeing critical decisions.

Ema says its AI Employees are already running in production at Fortune 500 scale. Revenue has grown 50x over the past 24 months, and customers typically double their spend as they expand from a first deployment into two or three more use cases. Its product-led model lets companies start in one function and expand across HR, IT and finance without heavy services work.

Deployment numbers back that up. At a top-five global systems integrator, Ema supports more than 240,000 associates in 65 countries, automates more than 100 workflows and handles about 2.9 million employee queries a year. It has cut response times from days to seconds, raised employee satisfaction by 20%, avoided about 60% of tickets and let the people operations team run about 50% leaner. At a top-five global BPO, Ema handles more than 1 million IT service tickets and more than 1 million calls a year across more than 15 languages, with up to 95% accuracy and fewer than 10% of interactions escalated. A $50 billion global conglomerate went from concept to production in four weeks, connecting more than 20 systems of record for over 40,000 employees.

Ema counts Wipro, Hitachi, ADP and PwC among its customers and integrates with more than 250 business applications. The new funding will scale its go-to-market organization, where several senior leaders have already joined, and support continued platform investment. Surojit Chatterjee is CEO and co-founder.
