Flam has raised $40 million in a Series B led by QED Investors. Existing backers RTP Global and Dovetail returned, alongside Claypond Capital and several individual investors.

The company operates from San Francisco and Bengaluru, and builds tools for interactive video, 3D product experiences, and conversational visual agents. Shourya Agarwal, Malhar Patil, and Amit Gaiki founded it in 2021.

Its Flicks format lets viewers swap a person, product, or scene during video playback. Airboards streams 3D content to a camera interface where users interact by touch and voice. Visual Agents are on-screen characters that hold conversations and carry out actions. Those descriptions come from Flam’s own product account, and the release does not establish how widely each format has been deployed.

Behind the formats sit AI models for editing image elements, generating video assets, facial motion, speech, and language responses. The company published performance figures for streaming and response times without independent testing or a common benchmark. Target uses run to marketing, product visualization, customer support, and sales.

Flam says it has signed more than 100 enterprise customers over six quarters, a figure the company supplied that was not independently audited. It named Grab among them without detailing the work. A partnership with Indonesia’s Elang Mahkota Teknologi, known as Emtek, is meant to bring the technology to brands in Southeast Asia, though commercial terms and rollout schedule were not disclosed.

The company previously raised a $14 million Series A led by RTP Global in May 2025. It did not disclose a valuation for the new round, nor revenue, profitability, or active customer counts.

The new capital funds research and development on the AI models, an expanded product suite, and sales growth in international markets.
